We never want to say no, but unfortunately, we are currently unable to take in any more cat surrenders.
Our foster homes are full, our resources are stretched thin, and we are working hard to care for the many cats already in our care—each one relying on us for food, medical care, and love.
💔 This is not a decision we take lightly. We know how hard it is to ask for help, and we're heartbroken that we can’t say "yes" to every cat in need. But to do right by the cats we have, we need to pause intake until:
✅ We have more available fosters
✅ More cats are adopted into loving homes
✅ We receive additional donations to cover ongoing care
👉 How You Can Help:
Thank you for understanding and for being part of our community. We’re doing everything we can, and we’ll open intake again as soon as it’s possible. 💕

Feline Canopy of Care, Inc. is an all-volunteer, foster-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to ending the suffering of abandoned cats and kittens. Our mission is rooted in compassion, education, and advocacy.
We work tirelessly to reduce the overpopulation of cats by promoting the importance of spaying and neutering as a humane alternative to euthanasia. Through our programs and outreach, we aim to ensure that every cat has the opportunity to live a healthy, safe, and loved life.
We are dedicated to educating the public about responsible pet ownership and providing resources to support the best care for animals. By fostering a community of awareness, compassion, and action, we strive to create a future where all cats are treated with dignity and respect.
Together, with your support, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of cats in need.
We are a No-Kill organization exclusively dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned and stray cats and kittens. Our mission is to put an end to feline homelessness, neglect and abuse.

A microchip helps reunite you with your pet—but only if it is registered. One-third of all pets will go missing in their lifetime. Storm was reunited with his family within an hour of being scanned because his chip was registered.
